Staffing Coordinator/ Medical Records

Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities

Follow established schedules, policies, and supervisor instructions.
Prepare and post work schedules
Manage daily staffing activities: receive calls, arrange replacements, adjust schedules, and prepare related correspondence.
Ensure new hires receive schedules, timecards, and provide orientation
Consult with nursing supervisors to correct staffing issues and improve service delivery.
Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information; report any suspected privacy or system-security violations.
Verify nursing employee licenses/certifications and maintain up-to-date records.
Maintain attendance/tardiness documentation for performance reviews.

Medical Records Responsibilities

Collect, assemble, review, and electronically file resident charts.
Ensure records are complete, coded, signed, indexed, and properly stored.
Assist with assessments scheduling and maintain registries and logs.
Retrieve and release records to authorized personnel per privacy rules.
Safeguard access to resident information and report violations.
Perform all assigned duties with accuracy and accountability
